Abortions

Abortions are used worldwide. There are many different ways and a million of reasons why. But is it right at all? One way is the partial birth abortion, done at fourth to sixth month of pregnancy when the baby is already developed. Other abortions are done in the first three months when the baby is not yet developed.  I fell that they are wrong.

In 2003 the US Supreme Court upheld the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act and have now have finally passed it. Partial Birth Abortions are used 3,000 to 5,000 times annually in the U.S. A Partial Birth Abortions is usually performed in the second trimester of pregnancy or four to six months into the pregnancy.

The doctor delivers the body and arms of the baby. The doctor then makes a hole in the back of the head and inserts a tube and suck out the brain. That causes the skull to crush.

Some people think that passing the law against partial birth abortion violates the women’s rights who want to have abortions. “The Partial Birth Abortion act expresses respect for the dignity of human life,” Justice Kennedy wrote. Others believe abortions are like taking a life. There was another law passed that bans abortions at 12 weeks including the ones that doctors say are safe and necessary.

I feel that abortions are wrong and should not be used especially the partial birth abortions. The Partial Birth Abortion is like taking a life. That is because the baby is already alive and developed when it is being aborted. Partial Birth Abortions are torture to the baby because it goes through the process alive. If a person is going to get an abortion they should not wait until the baby is developed. Abortions should only be done, if needed, in the first month of pregnancy.
