Partial Birth Abortions are used 3,000 to 5,000 times annually in the U.S. A Partial Birth Abortions is usually performed in the second trimester of pregnancy or four to six months into the pregnancy.
The doctor delivers the body and arms of the baby. The doctor then makes a hole in the back of the head and inserts a tube and suck out the brain. That causes the skull to crush.
Some people think that passing the law against partial birth abortion violates the women’s rights who want to have abortions. “The Partial Birth Abortion act expresses respect for the dignity of human life,” Justice Kennedy wrote. Others believe abortions are like taking a life. There was another law passed that bans abortions at 12 weeks including the ones that doctors say are safe and necessary.(click on the title for full story)
